Reflection for December 27, 2020, The Holy Family Mass Letter from St.Paul to the Corinthians 3:12-21 “. . .and let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful. . .” As you celebrate the birth of Jesus and the beginnings of a new year continue on your spiritual journey of daily prayer. Read part 5 ofI Heard God Laugh: The God who gave us laughter. As we have traveled this past year have we discovered the beauty of “not being busy”? During this advent have you made prayer the central part of your day? If you haven’t are you willing to work on it in 2021? Soul Note: Soul, until you discover God’s playfulness you will not enter into the depths of the spiritual life. Until you discover the playfulness of the child within, you will not discover the playfulness of God. Dance in the rain, play in the mud, lose track of time, and maybe then you will find yourself lost in God, and found once and for all. Reminder: Books(I Heard God Laugh) are available at the back of church or church office or contact me.
Merry Christmas, my friends! Be at peace in this new year. I will resume writing reflections with Lent 2021. Luceat Lux Vestra (Let your Light Shine)
