Living Well With Chronic Conditions Workshop The health committee is partnering with the ADRC of Barron County. (Aging and disability resource center) to offer a living well with chronic conditions workshop for our parishes and community. Living well is a six-week workshop for people of all ages who have one or more On-going health problems. Chronic conditions include: asthma, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, pain, fatigue and others. It is a hands on opportunity to discover solutions for your life and your health concerns. You will learn to build confidence with short-term goal setting, relaxation techniques, partnering with your health care providers, fitness and fun. Each session will focus on a different topic. Workshop will be held Tuesdays, September 10th to October 15th from 6:00pm-8:30pm at St. Anthony Abbot parish center in Cumberland. A light snack will be provided. There is a suggested donation of $10.00/person to cover the cost of the materials for the workshop.
